TROOPERS: CROSSVILLE MAN HURT IN HIGHWAY 70 WEST VEHICLE ACCIDENT
A single vehicle accident last night on Highway 70 West in Cumberland County resulted in the driver being injured. Trooper Jeremy Newcome states in his report a 1997 Chevrolet C1500 driven by 24-year-old Christopher Farr of Crossville came off of Browntown Road turning east onto the highway then traveled at a high rate of speed. Farr lost control, went off the road and hit an embankment. The vehicle came to rest on the south side of the roadway. Farr was hurt in the crash. He was charged with reckless driving, failure to exercise due care, failure to obey a stop sign and driving on a suspended license
