A head-on vehicle crash yesterday morning on Highway 127 North in Cumberland County resulted in an injury.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 2015 Ford F-150 operated by 21-year-old Matthew Ryann Adams was traveling south near North Elementary School when he crossed the center line and collided with the front of a 2020 Subaru Outback driven by 57-year-old Vivian Joyce Stokes.

Adams also hit the side of a 2017 Dodge Ram operated by 49-year-old Matthew Edward Blair.

The only injury noted was to Stokes. She was wearing her seat belt at the time of impact.

The accident report states Adams was issued a citation for failure to exercise due care.
