The accident report indicates a Mitsubishi Outlander operated by Kasie Racquel Lee and a Jeep Wrangler driven by 22-year-old James Andrew Garrett were traveling south on Highway 111 near Park Place.

Both drivers were in the left travel lane attempting to pass a tractor-trailer in the right truck lane. After the truck lane ended and the tractor-trailer merged back, Garrett applied his brakes and was rear-ended by Lee.
