TRUCK AND TOOLS STOLEN; TRUCK FOUND BUT TOOLS STILL MISSING
On April 10, 2025, at around 5:40 AM, Deputy Jordan Winningham responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at Deep Draw Rd. The vehicle was a gray 2004 Ford F-150, a 4-door, 4×4 model, featuring a white toolbox in the bed, valued at approximately $5,000.
The toolbox contained Milwaukee tools worth $500 and a Husqvarna chainsaw worth $1,000. The truck had a cracked front center from a prior deer collision. The owner reported the vehicle was last seen parked in his yard at 6:30 PM on April 9, 2025, and noticed it missing at 5:25 AM on April 10, 2025.
No suspects were identified at the time.
Later that day, at approximately 10:24 AM, Dispatch reported the stolen F-150 was found, left in a driveway at a house at Big Horn Loop. Deputies responded and spoke with the homeowner, who noticed the vehicle in her driveway around 10:00 AM. The vehicle was processed by an investigator, but the tools and chainsaw were missing.
The truck was recovered, and the owner was notified to retrieve it.
