On Tuesday, a school bus was traveling North on HWY 127 in Fentress County when it stopped in the roadway to let children exit. Jordan Copeland, age 20, was also traveling North driving a Chevy Silverado when he failed to stop in time causing it to strike the back of the school bus. Mr. Copeland was left with serious injuries. The THP report states he was wearing his seatbelt.

No children were reported injured.
