On October 27, officers were dispatched to the Dollar General off of Lantana Road for a theft. The Regional Loss Prevention Manager had been investigating and discovered in the previous two weeks, 36-year-old Lyndsey Blauvelt allegedely stole $3,070.28. Ms. Blavelt wrote a statement admitting to stealing the money from the deposit bag and was placed under arrest for theft.
