TWO ARRESTED AFTER THREE CHILDREN FOUND LIVING IN UNSANITARY CONDITIONS

Three children were removed from a home in Whitley County, Kentucky, following a welfare check by sheriff’s deputies. A tip led deputies to a house on Reverend Gene Young Road in Williamsburg. Officers found the children, ages four, three and one living in unsanitary conditions. Deputies found roaches in and around food, and no running water in the home. Thirty-year-old Heather Clark and 19-year-old Carlton Douglas were arrested for endangering the welfare of a minor. Deputies say they were not the children’s parents, but had been entrusted with their care.
