TWO ARRESTED FOLLOWING BRIEF CHASE IN WHITE COUNTY

Two individuals are facing several charges following a brief police chase in White County this past Monday. Officers received a tip that a wanted person was at Walmart in Sparta. Officers with the White County Sheriffs Department and Sparta Police Department located 36-year-old Ronald Lee Dishman and 32-year-old Tiffany Renea Brymer in a silver Mustang on the south end of the parking lot. After failed attempts to stop Dishman and Brymer, the mustang exited the parking lot and fled through the field in between Walmart and Trace Lane before crashing into a tree in the wood line. Both subjects then fled on foot. K9 Reno, was deployed by his handler and tracked Brymer approximately 200 yards into the woods. Dishman was apprehended in the area of Highway 111 and the Warrior Skate Center. Both subjects were taken into custody without incident. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 36 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine, miscellaneous drug paraphernalia items, and a loaded 12-gauge shotgun. Dishman’s charges include drug paraphernalia possession, manufacture, sale and delivery of meth, unlawful carrying of a weapon, theft of property, reckless endangerment, possession of a weapon during a felony, and evading arrest in a motor vehicle. Brymer’s charges include drug paraphernalia possession, possession of a weapon during a felony, manufacturing/sale/delivery of meth, and evading arrest. Both were transported to the White County Jail.
