TWO ARRESTED FOLLOWING TRAFFIC STOP IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
Cumberland County deputies pulled over a suspicious driver pulling out of the Exxon onto Westel Road without headlights late Sunday night. The arrest report states the driver, 28-year-old Taree Lamott Armstrong of Memphis, told a deputy he had drugs in the vehicle. Officers allegedly located the drugs and a digital scale. Armstrong was charged with manufacture, sale and delivery of a controlled substance. A passenger in the car, 31-year-old Roderick Cortez Prather of Memphis, was taken into custody on a warrant out of Dyer County. Both were taken to the Cumberland County jail.
