TWO ARRESTED FOR CROSSVILLE WALMART THEFT

On September 20, 2025, at 12:51 PM, police were dispatched to Walmart in Crossville following a theft report. A store employee reported that on September 13, 2025, at approximately 2:28 PM, a female identified as Nicole Cohen used a WIC card to pay for items partially but left the store without paying for others, stealing goods worth $182.47, including baby diapers, a greeting card, fishing gear, baby food, a soda, tape, gel pens, and a booster seat.

Cohen was accompanied by Ian Ramey, who was seen with her in the baby aisle. After Cohen exited the store, Ramey left alone, and they met at their vehicle, which then moved to the back of the store near the Garden Center. Ramey removed his white t-shirt, re-entered the store with some of the stolen items (valued at $117.74), and returned them at customer service, receiving a $129.22 gift card. None of the stolen items were recovered.

On September 20, Officer Steven McNeal arrested Cohen at the Executive Inn (4083 HWY 127N) on active warrants and charged her with Theft of Merchandise. Later that day, at 3:26 PM, Officer Ogle arrested Ramey at the same location, and he was also charged with Theft of Merchandise.

Both were transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center.
