TWO ARRESTED FOR DRUGS IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY ON WAY TO REHAB FACILITY
While on patrol Saturday, a Cumberland County deputy observed a motorist on I-40 reportedly failing to maintain a travel lane.
The officer pulled over 44-year-old Paul Travis Gremillion of Lake City, Tennessee.
Gremillion allegedly told the deputy he was having trouble staying in his lane because he was tired. Gremillion added he was taking his passenger, 44-year-old Terri Ann Snelson of Rocky Top, Tennessee, to a rehab facility in Murfreesboro.
A search of the vehicle reportedly revealed a small plastic bag of heroin inside a package of breadsticks from Little Ceasar’s. A hypodermic needle with blood on it was found near the driver’s seat. A plastic bag of meth was also reportedly located in the vehicle.
Both suspects stated they didn’t do drugs and did not know where the drugs came from.
Snelson was charged with the manufacture, sale, delivery, or possession of meth and two counts of simple possession of drugs.
