TWO ARRESTED WITH DRUGS IN KINGSTON

The Tennessee Highway Patrol pulled over a vehicle last night around 10:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Little Rocky Top market on Race Street in downtown Kingston, near Highway 70 and the Rocky Top market. The traffic stop resulted in the arrest of two individuals after an investigation revealed illegal drugs in the vehicle. The subjects were transported to the Roane County Jail.

The individuals arrested by the THP were James Scott Gann, age 57, charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, manufacture, delivery, or sale of methamphetamine, and violation of the drug-free school zone due to the location of the traffic stop being close to Roane County High School.

Also arrested was Pamela Goad, age 55, facing similar charges along with an additional violation of probation warrant. Both remained in the Roane County Jail as of this afternoon.
