TWO CHARGED WITH THEFT AFTER WALLET TAKEN FROM STORE IN CROSSVILLE
Crossville police responded to the Miller Mart to take a theft report. The victim told officers she placed her wallet under the fountain drink machine while she got a drink and forgot to pick the wallet up and left. Video surveillance shows 55-year-old Anthony John Kantor of Crab Orchard minutes later picking up the wallet, looked at the contents then took it to 43-year-old Tassie Kay Herron of Crossville. Both allegedly left the store after Herron hid the wallet under her clothing. Police later stopped the vehicle occupied by the two and the wallet was recovered. Herron and Kantor were both charged with theft.
