TWO DOGS LOST IN PUTNAM COUNTY FIRE

Putnam County, TN – At approximately 8:10 P.M. last night, Putnam County Fire was dispatched to a reported residential fire on Forrest Road.
Upon arrival, crews found approximately a 10’x16’ shed type structure fully engulfed in fire. A quick attack was performed, and control was obtained within 10 minutes of arrival.
Crews worked the scene for a little over 2 hours; during the course of the fire, it was determined there was no electricity to the structure.
The structure was a total loss, and 2 dogs were found deceased in the debris. At this time, there is no ongoing investigation.
