Two were involved in a vehicle crash on Highway 127 South near Highway 68 yesterday afternoon in Cumberland County. Trooper Jeremy Newcome says a 2016 Mazda operated by 59-year-old Ronald Nail of Crossville was stopped in the roadway awaiting oncoming traffic to clear so he could turn left. He was then struck from behind by a 2004 Chevy Caviler driven by 79-year-old Edna Melton of Crossville. Both drivers, who were restrained at the time of impact, sustained injuries.
