Two people were injured in a single vehicle accident on I-40 in Cumberland County Sunday. The accident report released today from the highway patrol states a 2003 Chevy pickup driven by 37-year-old Jonathan D. Koenig of Loudon was traveling east at the 324 mile marker when the left rear tire blew out. The truck left the road and rolled off the right side of the interstate. Koenig and a passenger, 34-year-old Stefani B. Russell of Rockwood, were both transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
