TWO JUVENILES ARRESTED AFTER REPORTS OF A GUN AT NORRIS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Norris, TN- Anderson County Sheriff’s Office along with the Norris Police Department responded to a potentially life-threatening report that a male was inside Norris Elementary School with a gun.
They quickly put the school on lockdown and investigated the situation.
As an additional precautionary measure, Norris Middle School and Anderson County High School were also placed on lockdown while a thorough investigation was carried out. It was revealed the report was false, and the team of law enforcement personnel was able to locate the juveniles responsible for the hoax. The juveniles were taken into custody, and transported to Richard L. Bean juvenile detention center.
