Two people were killed in an accident involving an ambulance Friday night traveling on I-40. Zachary Pruitt of Humboldt and Nyema Jackson of Jackson died in the wreck. Both were 36-years old. Metro Nashville Police say that Pruitt was the paramedic attending the patient, Jackson. Both victims were ejected from the rear of the ambulance as it left the roadway while negotiating a curve and hitting a rock wall. Jackson and Pruitt died at the hospital.
