TWO MORGAN COUNTY DEPUTIES REPORTEDLY HIT BY VEHICLE WHILE SERVING WARRANTS

Morgan County authorities say a subject hit two deputies and jumped into a pond to avoid capture before she was arrested. Deputies Lonnie LaRue and Cade Brown went to a home on George Howard Road recently to serve warrants on 38-year-old Patricia Gail Dales of Sunbright. Dale reportedly ran out a back door and got into a vehicle leaving the residence and struck the two officers in the process. The two escaped injury. Dales then hit a tree, got out and jumped into a pond to get away. She was caught moments later. Dales was charged with assault on an officer, aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and possession of a Schedule III, IV and V drug.
