HUMAN SKELETAL REMAINS FOUND ALONGSIDE I-75 BELIEVED TO BE A MALE

Loudon County investigators are providing more details of skeletal remains discovered yesterday by a TDOT crew in a wooded area off of I-75 near the Philadelphia exit. Preliminary evidence is consistent with that of someone authorities believe to be a male and possibly a homeless transient or hitchhiker. Officers say the individual may have died from natural causes or exposure to the elements. At this time foul play is not suspected.
