The 27th Annual Allardt Pumpkin Festival was held over the weekend and it saw two record weigh-ins. Jeremy Terry of Helenwood set a world record for the largest bushel gourd, weighing in at just over 384 pounds. Jason Terry set the state record for the largest green squash, weighing in at 1,090 pounds. John Van Hook had the largest pumpkin weighing in at 1,293 pounds.
