Two schools in Cumberland County were placed under a soft lockdown this morning.

Officials say Stone Memorial High School and Stone Elementary School went under the soft lockdown because of an incident away from the schools.

Once the incident was resolved around 30 minutes later at the Pilot Travel Center on Genesis Road, the lockdown was lifted.

No further information was released.
