A three vehicle accident in Cumberland County late yesterday left two slightly hurt. Troopers say a 2013 Nissan Altima driven by 48-year-old Alicia Smith of Crossville was stopped on Highway 70 North to make a turn. That is when officers say a 2012 Chevy Silverado operated by 26-year-old William Watson of Crossville crossed the center lane to avoid the Altima and hit an oncoming 1994 Chevy Astro Van driven by 29-year-old Jeremy Kean of Grimsley head on. Keen and a passenger in his vehicle, 31-year-old Christopher Dunham of Monterey, were the only two injuries reported in the crash. Watson was charged with failure to exercise due care.
