A two vehicle accident this afternoon (Thursday, May 18, 2017) in Crossville resulted in one injured. The accident took place at the intersection of Genesis Road and Industrial Boulevard when a black Subaru collided with a white Honda. The impact knocked down the street/stop sign and pole at the intersection. The female driver of the Honda was transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Subaru was not hurt. Traffic was slow in all directions at the scene for around 20-30 minutes as police investigated the accident and arranged for the two vehicles to be towed. Crossville police did not release the identities of the drivers involved.
