TWO WOMEN INDICTED ON SECOND-DEGREE MURDER CHARGES IN ROANE COUNTY
Two individuals are currently in custody at the Roane County Jail in Kingston following charges that include two counts of second-degree murder and drug-related offenses. They are identified as Edna Webb of Rockwood and Manessa Hermann of Harriman.
According to Roane County Chief Deputy Tim Phillips, both women were indicted by the Roane County Grand Jury. They face similar charges in connection with the death of Robert Drake, who died from a drug overdose on August 13, 2025.
Edna Webb remains incarcerated at the jail, with her bond set at $150,000. Trial dates for the cases are scheduled for later this year, and further updates will be provided as they become available.
