A 2-year-old Rockwood boy is in critical condition and fighting for his life at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital after an accidental fall at a home last week. Authorities say Jacob Wolfe was airlifted to Knoxville shortly after the fall at a Caney Creek Road home on January 8. Initially he was knocked unconscious and busted his mouth but after arriving at the children’s hospital, doctors discovered swelling and hemorrhages on his brain. Jacob’s mother, Amber Potter, has a Facebook page created entitled “Prayers for Jay” to keep everyone notified of how he is doing. The family is asking for prayers now for Jacob to recover.
