UNEMPLOYMENT PERCENTAGES SLIGHLY INCREASE IN 80 TENNESSEE COUNTIES

In a report released yesterday, the unemployment rate in Cumberland County rose to 4.3 percent, up from 3.9 percent the previous month.
In Roane County, the rate went up slightly from 3.8 to 3.9 percent.
Bledsoe County had the state’s highest unemployment at 5.4 percent.
Pickett County came in at 4.3 percent, up from 3.9 percent the previous month.
Statewide, 80 counties recorded a small increase in unemployment, while eight counties matched their rates from the previous month.
