Authorities continue their investigation after two individuals were found deceased Tuesday evening inside a residence on the 400th block of West Wheeler Street in Rockwood.

Officers went there to conduct a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers discovered two dead inside the home

In an update, the victims are believed to be a man in his 90s, while the other is a female caretaker in her 60s. Preliminary information suggests the two may have been deceased for more than two weeks before being discovered. The bodies were taken to a forensic center, where examinations will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

Officials say foul play is not suspected at the moment, and they hope to learn more once the autopsy results are released.
