According to Cumberland County Sheriff Casey Cox, deputies were serving a warrant on a man this morning who refused to come out of his house.  The man was hiding in a crawl space beneath the house when deputies heard a gunshot.  The suspect had apparently shot himself in the head. He was airlifted to U.T Medical Center in Knoxville in critical condition.  The homeowner was charged with obstruction of serving a legal writ (warrant).  The names have not been released.
