December 24, 2022, 10:55 am Update: TVA’s Step 50 Emergency Load Curtailment will continue until demand on the electric grid improves. Since 6:00 am, all local power companies in the Tennessee Valley, including VEC, have been utilizing 15-minute rolling power outages to meet the load reduction requirement. We will keep you updated and let you know when TVA notifies us to terminate curtailment.
