7:20 am Outage Update: VEC line crews are still in the field working on restoration this morning. We’ve also brought in an additional 16 contract crews to help with the recovery effort. At the peak of the storm yesterday, we had more than 20,000 accounts that were without power. This morning, that number is down to around 8,200. We still have a lot of work to do, but we expect the majority of those without power to be restored today. Unfortunately, we are still not able to provide details about restoration for any specific areas. Please utilize the SmartHub app to access the most current outage restoration information.
