A single vehicle accident in Roane County this week injured the driver. Troopers say a 2007 Chevrolet Impala operated by 36-year-old Matthew A. Goss of Rockwood was traveling west on Joiner Hollow Road  when the automobile left the pavement and hit a utility pole. The car then ran up an embankment, flipped in the air and came to rest on its top. Goss, who was not restrained, was taken to U.T. Medical Center for treatment.
