A vehicle accident late Saturday morning in Crossville resulted in a traffic detour. The crash report states a 2005 gold Ford F-250 driven by 70-year-old Jon Jones failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of Genes Road and Webb Avenue. Jones collided with a 2013 Ford C-Max hybrid operated by 55-year-old Nadine S. Wyatt. The impact sent the pickup into a utility pole. Both drivers, as well as a passenger with Wyatt, escaped injury.
