Cumberland County deputies went to the scene late Wednesday of a automobile crash on Brewer Road near Mutts Road south of Lake Tansi. The accident report indicates a 2001 Mazda truck driven by 55-year-old James H. Godsey of Crossville lost control in a curve and slid into the opposite lane of travel. His vehicle hit an oncoming 2017 Toyota 4Runner operated by 24-year-old Abigail M. Johnson of Crossville. No injuries were reported and both drivers were restrained at the time of impact.
