A two-vehicle crash in Ballard County, Kentucky Friday claimed the life of a Wayne County, Kentucky woman. Officers say a 2001 Chevy Astro van driven by 58-year-old Clayton L. Clark of La Center was eastbound on Kentucky 286 when he crossed over the center lane and struck a 2011 Ford Edge SUV operated by 63-year-old Neoma J. Jones, of Monticello. A passenger in the Ford, 51-year-old Lisa C. Daniels of Monticello, and the two drivers were transported to a hospital. Clark and Jones were then airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Daniels passed away shortly after arrival.
