Crews from Volunteer Electric responded to a broken power pole from a vehicle crash Friday night in the Midway area of Roane County.

To make repairs, the line crew turned the power off to additional areas which resulted in over 2000 power customers being offline.

Power was restored after workers safely completed installing a new power pole and reconnecting the power lines.
