VEHICLE ROLLOVER AND UTILITY POLE CRASHES REPORTED NEAR HARRIMAN OVERNIGHT
Last night, just after 11:00 p.m., a vehicle rollover accident occurred at the Woods Chapel intersection with Highway 61, north of Harriman. Emergency responders, including the rescue squad, Blair Volunteer Fire Department, an ambulance, the Sheriff’s Office, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, the first unit reported that no one was injured seriously enough to require transport by ambulance to the hospital. The THP is investigating the crash.Early Thursday morning, around 1:00 a.m., Harriman Fire Department personnel and police responded to Lower Margrave Street, where a vehicle had struck a utility pole. According to reports, the female driver—the sole occupant—was not injured.
