VEHICLE VANDALISM REPORTED AT CROSSVILLE SERVICE CENTER
On April 9, 2026, Crossville Police Officer Mitchell Park responded to a vandalism call at the Crossville Service Center. Upon arrival, they spoke with regional processing manager, who reported that a 2022 Acura RDX had its rear windshield shattered overnight.
The vehicle had been parked outside in the lot (backed in with the rear facing Miller Ave) because there was no space inside the garage. The manager stated the vehicle was undamaged and secure when employees left the business around 5:00 PM on April 8, 2026, but the damage was discovered upon arrival at 6:30 AM the next morning.
The owner of the vehicle was also on scene and was advised of the incident. The estimated cost to replace the rear windshield and installation is approximately $700. The business has cameras on the building, but at the time of the report, the manager was still attempting to obtain the footage, and no suspects were known.
