A vehicle versus a tractor-trailer accident Saturday afternoon on I-40 in Roane County backed up traffic for around three hours.

The crash report released today by the Tennessee Highway Patrol states a 2007 Hyundai Elantra driven by 29-year-old Joshua White of Tennessee and a 2020 Freightliner operated by 36-year-old Joshua Warren of Indiana were traveling east at the 362-mile marker.

The Hyundai lost control while changing lanes and struck the tractor-trailer.

The Freightliner went partially off the road, striking a cable barrier.

Troopers say neither driver sustained injuries.

The report indicates White was issued citations for failure to show financial responsibility and having an expired registration.
