VEHICULAR HOMICIDE SUSPECT APPEARS IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY COURT

Cumberland County Criminal Court Judge Wesley Bray heard a vehicular homicide case today. Forty-one year old Jamie Dewayne Richards stands accused of causing the accident on Peavine Road in December 2018 that killed 85-year-old Bessie Huxoll. She was a passenger in a car driven by 88-year-old George Huxoll, who was injured in the head-on crash. Richard is additionally charged with DUI. In court today, Judge Bray set a return date to court for Richards of November 13, 2019 to see if there will be a possible resolution in the case  between prosecutors and the defense attorney.
