VERY ACTIVE WEATHER AHEAD

Rain and a few thunderstorms will continue through Saturday night with a flash flood watch in effect all the way to Saturday night. Additional rainfall could be 2 to 4 inches and we have already had 5 inches since last Sunday in Crossville. There will be a threat of severe thunderstorms across Tennessee late Saturday with straight line wind that could gust to 50 miles per hour and blow down trees that have weakened roots from all of the rain. A few tornadoes will also be possible. I will be in the Main Street office Saturday and Saturday night keeping everyone up-to-date every hour on our stations and here on our news page. Sunday and Monday are looking much better with clearing and the return of sunshine and temperatures in the 50s.
