The search continues for  Dr. James L. Smith, 83 years old, Height: 6 ft, Weight: 160, Eye color: Brown, Hair color: Silver Gray or White, Last seen in Overton County. Dr. Smith walks with the assistance of a cane. He has dementia. He may be dehydrated or disoriented. The following release came from Overton County EMA.

Overton County EMA Director Dr. James L. Smith would like to thank all agencies and volunteers in assisting with today’s search. Tomorrow starting at 9:00 a.m. the search will continue. We will have foot, all-terrain vehicles and horse search teams. If anyone can volunteer tomorrow, please come to Copeland Cove Ln located off Hwy 84 and report to the command post for staging. Any Churches or volunteers that want to donate food or water please call 931-823-1133 or drop off at Overton/Pickett E-911 255 Industrial Park Dr.
