WAFFLE HOUSE SHOOTING SUSPECT TRAVIS REINKING INDICTED ON 17 COUNTS, INCLUDING 1ST-DEGREE MURDER
Facing a total of 17 felony charges for his shooting spree last year, Waffle House shooting suspect Travis Reinking has been indicted by a grand jury on four counts of premeditated first-degree murder and four counts of attempted first-degree murder.
Reinking is accused of opening fire at a Waffle House in Antioch April 22, killing four and wounding four others.
After a 30-hour manhunt, Reinking was captured in a wooded area near Old Hickory Boulevard and Hobson Pike.
He’d been committed to Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute last year, but was later found competent to stand trial.
