Law enforcement in Cumberland County went to a home yesterday on Lige Road for a subject wanted for a probation violation. As the deputy arrived, the suspect, 23-year-old Brenden James Carter-Libby fled the scene in a vehicle. A brief pursuit started then ended at the intersection with Old Highway 28 where Carter-Libby got out and ran into a wooded area. He was not initially located and a warrant was issued for him for felony evading arrest.
