WARMING AREAS FOR LOCALS DURING FREEZING OUTSIDE TEMPATURES

With dangerously low temperatures heading toward our area, we have tried to come up with a list of Warming Areas for those who need a warm place to go. Normally more places will open up after a large power outage, but for now, these are what we have found:

Crossville Ralph Reagan, Manager at the Bread of Life, said they will take in anyone who needs warmth in the coming bad weather. They are battling a lot of illness with his staff so there’s no one to answer the phone, for example, but they stand ready to make room as best they can.

Luminary -Frostbite Volunteer Fire Department at 13002 Summer City Road will be opening up Friday at 6 PM and the whole weekend for folks to stop in for shelter and warm up.
