WARRANT ISSUED FOR ALMOST $1,000 IN ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM CROSSVILLE RURAL KING
On January 28, 2026, at around 8:06 PM, Crossville police were dispatched to the Rural King store in response to a reported shoplifting incident. A store employee observed a woman pushing a cart filled with merchandise past an unattended register and heading toward the exit.
When the employee stopped the suspect to check for a receipt, she discovered two large dog beds in the cart with various items concealed inside. The total value of the unpaid merchandise was $994.89. The woman immediately fled the store, leaving the items behind.
Video footage was unavailable during the initial investigation. The suspect was later identified as Andrea Fults through photo recognition by multiple Rural King employees.
A judicial commissioner issued an arrest warrant for Fults on charges of theft of merchandise, though she could not be located at the time.
