WARRANT ISSUED FOR MAN BELIEVED TO HAVE STOLEN CROSSBOWS FROM WALMART

According to a report by the Crossville Police Department, on October 8, 2025, a Crossville Police Officer responded to a theft report at Wal-Mart, where a Loss Prevention employee reported that a white male stole three crossbows around 2:40 PM. the Loss Prevention employee provided video surveillance and photos showing the suspect selecting the items and leaving the store without payment.
The suspect was seen entering a Nissan Quest van registered to him. Using the complainant’s statements, video evidence, and photos, along with information from the criminal justice portal and social media confirming Stafford’s identity, the officer obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect, who is believed to be from the Jackson County/Putnam County area.
