WARRANT SERVICE TURNS INTO HUGE DRUG BUST
On October 13th at approximately 10:11 p.m., Deputy Caleb Charles responded to East 1st St for a felony warrant service on Robert Presley. Charles made contact with him and verified the warrant through dispatch, and Presley said he was still on state probation in Georgia.
Presley was taken into custody and granted permission to enter his home with his girlfriend.
While inside Deputy Charles located Methamphetamine and burned tin foil next to the bed consistent with Heroin or Fentanyl usage. Presley, a convicted felon, had a Ruger Raging Bull .44 Mag revolver in the bathroom which was secured.
A search of the house for narcotics was conducted under probable cause which turned up 96 Grams of Fentanyl in a backpack on a recliner in the living room, 185.61 Grams of Methamphetamine, 233 Grams of Marijuana, 2 Grams of Mushrooms, 5 vape carts containing THC, along with a set of digital scales, a black Hi-point 9mm Carbine, and more paraphernalia.
Presley was booked at CCSO intake and charged with Man/Del/Sell of Methamphetamine, Man/Del/Sell of Fentanyl, Man/Del/Sell of Sch VI, Man/Del/Sell of Sch I, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
