A Wartburg lost his life in a single vehicle accident last night in Morgan County. A preliminary report indicates a 2001 Nissan driven by 38-year-old Silas Andrews was traveling south on State Route 299 near Riverview Street in Oakdale when he lost control in a curve, went off the road and struck an embankment. The vehicle started to roll resulting in Andrews being ejected. He passed away from injuries sustained in the crash.
