Officers with the Wartburg Police Department, in conjunction with Wartburg Central Elementary School, will be conducting an emergency evacuation drill today (Friday, September 28, 2018). During this time emergency vehicles from several different agencies will be at the school. Authorities wish to inform all parents and citizens of this event to prevent any cause for alarm. During this drill Highway 62 will be blocked at times to allow for safe crossing of students to and from the school.
